Taking iron supplements can reverse hair loss caused by iron deficiency. When the problem is a side effect of a drug, the drug can be altered to deal with the problem.
Practice of stress, relieve the systems such as yoga, religious ceremonies, and so regular exercise can reduce stress and the resulting hair loss.
FDA has approved certain drugs effective for coping with the condition. Besides them, there are various other remedies available out there in the market, and their effectiveness has yet to be proven.
Surgical hair restoration or hair transplantation is an option available for people who can afford the rather expensive procedure, conducted over a period of time.
The use of wigs and weaves are some folk remedies that were in use during the many centuries of human history.
Drug side effects of male hair loss
Some of the reported side effects of these medicines are depression, anxiety, reduces sexual appetite, difficulty getting an erection, lower sperm production and male breast growth etc.
People who suffer from hair loss must first be extracted from their doctor and see if the root cause is any known medical condition. If so, the medical condition must be brought under control with proper medical treatment. If there is no medical condition, then drugs may be tested.
